MABEDI & BONELE | GRAHAMSTOWN
Last year this time I photographed my first wedding is this architectural town. The only problem was that it bucketed down that day so I was quite adamant that my next time in Grahamstown…I am going to get some shots with historical buildings in them. That’s when Mabedi contacted me. I was sooo looking forward to this wedding. Mabedi and Bonele decided to get married on the Rhodes University Grounds, since that was where they met while studying. I loved the ceremony. The Minister did such an awesome job of incorporating both cultures (Mabedi is from Botswana and Bonele from the Eastern Cape) and there was a sense of magic in the air during the singing and celebrations. I had so much fun photographing these two and I could have carried on for hours…
I loved the ceremony and the bridesmaids dresses….the Rhodes campus and Mabedi’s smile….and the fact that I got my shots of the building in the background!
Thank you Mabedi and Bonele for having me there to capture the magic. May your marriage be as awesome as your wedding day!
